PPT(Project,Placement & Training)

A Placement Cell functions in the College for counseling the students regarding higher studies and employment   opportunities.Established in 2003 by our Chairman, the aim of the department was to provide all round quality inputs to our students, so as to assist & help them in acquiring those additional skills necessary to match the expectations of the industry

Methodology :

Soft Skills training are imparted in the following areas:

  • Communication - Verbal & Non Verbal
  • Business Correspondence
  • Mock Interviews
  • Group Discussions
  • Role Plays
  • Videography - (To remove stage fear)
  • Resume TIPS / Drafting
  • Grooming
  • External assistance for aptitude / GRE / GAMT / TOFEL tests etc.

Projects :

We have tied up with leading consultants / companies to act as a guide helping them acquire projects that are relevant to the industry.

They also serve as a facilitator in the form of an external guide & advisor. Frequent external reviews are arranged by bringing in industry experts to monitor the progress of their assignments.

All projects are related to the students domain knowledge.

 

 

Placements :

Periodic visits are made to companies to create awareness about our educational institution and also invite for campus interviews

Resumes of the graduated (UG / PG's) students are emailed / posted to various companies in a structured excel format. (Name / Dept. / Academic record/ E-mail & Local phone number)

 

Guest Lectures :

Eminent personalities (from all walks of Life & Industry) have delivered Lecturers on Topics ranging from general to industry related topics.

These have been widely appreciated by our students and have also helped broaden their perspective.
